Santiago de Cuba

The second largest city in Cuba after Havana, Santiago de Cuba is, with its more than one million inhabitants, a vibrant city rich in history, traditions and beautiful landscapes.

There is much to see, to visit and since is so distant from Havana, almost 900km, you must stay at least two nights.

On the tour you can visit the noisy historic center full of life, colonial architecture and beautiful views of the bay, historical places such as the Moncada Barracks where Fidel Castro began the Revolution in 1953 and the Cemetery where his remains and that of many Cuban patriots and personalities rest, as well as learning more about the beginnings of Bacardi rum, as this is the hometown of its creator.
