Camagüey

Camagüey is also a colonial city of more than 500 years and is known as "The Maze" because of the intricate and confusing design of its historic center.


It’s the furthest city of the Central Region from Havana, about 550 km, therefore it is recommendable to visit it only if you are traveling far east.


A one-night stay is enough to know the history of the place on a Bicitaxi tour that will ride you through each square and very narrow streets. The province also offers beach and nature tourism for longer stays.
