Bay of Pigs

Very well known for the 1961 invasion, this area is also the perfect place for Snorkeling and scuba diving lovers!

Approximately 3 hours away from Havana, this paradise with turquoise waters in the Caribbean has a lot to offer to nature lovers: bird watching, crocodile farms and beautiful sea beds. It’s located at the Zapata Swamp, one of the sites declared Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO in Cuba.

To enjoy it calmly, you need to stay at least for one night. Although you can also enjoy a quick swim and a visit to the local museum about the invasion on the way to Trinidad or on the way back to Havana.
